The HP Color LaserJet CM4730fsk printer is a high end multifunction machine. It is recommended for offices that will print five to nine thousand prints per month. This machine can serve as a copier, printer, fax and scanner. It also has the capability to handle e-mail and offers color or monochrome prints produced by the CM4730fsk printer toner cartridge.

Many high end printers offer better choices in paper handling than most desktop printers. This machine is no exception. The paper trays that are included allow multiple sized papers to be available for the prints you choose to make. This option prevents continually having to reload paper into the machine.

The 533 MHz processor will start your copies within seconds and prints are delivered at the rate of approximately one sheet every two seconds. Scanning speeds are also very rapid. The flatbed scanner is designed for copies of 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper, and 8 1/2 x 14 sheets can be fed through the automatic document feeder. Scanned documents can be printed on the printer using HP Color LaserJet toner cartridge, sent to your computer or sent directly by email from the printer.

This machine also serves as a fax machine with capabilities and speeds that rival most stand along fax machines. The memory allows users to store up to 100 numbers. Junk faxes can be blocked.

As originally equipped, the printer is designed for wired connectivity; however, it does offer optional blue tooth connectivity. This option makes wireless printing possible. It will be enjoyed by your laptop users who will not need to connect wires in order to send prints to the printer.

HP has designed this printer for use with Windows 7. Offices that have not yet updated to this version of Windows may find that some of the capabilities of the machine are not available in older versions of Windows. You may want to consider updating to the latest operating system if you are purchasing this printer.

The HP Color LaserJet CM4730fsk printer is an overall good printer. It is energy star compliant and offers many different functions.
