If they want a romantic comedy for goodness sake don't give them a supernatural scary script. You will not believe how many times this happens.
And the top most important word of advice is to learn the art of movie script writing and green screen background inside out before you decide to try and have one produced. Most experts recognize that you should write numerous (more than two) scripts before even trying to submit one on to the film studios. Although they get a great deal of material, Hollywood is still a small town and people don't forget a dud.
